1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Ledgivo! By downloading, accessing, or using the Ledgivo mobile application ("App") and any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Ledgivo is a smart business management tool designed to provide accounting, ledger (Khata), point of sale (POS), inventory management, and AI-driven business insights functions for mobile devices. It operates primarily as an offline-first solution with optional Cloud Backup features.

3. Account Security and Data

  • Your Responsibility: You are responsible for preserving the confidentiality of any passwords or security controls associated with your app (like Biometric / PIN App Lock settings).
  • Data Integrity: Ledgivo stores business data such as sales, Khata ledgers, and inventory locally on your device in highly encrypted databases (SQLCipher). We are not liable for accidental data loss due to device formatting, deletion of the App without enabling offline-backups or syncing, or unauthorized physical access to your device.
  • Cloud Synchronization: If you opt-in to sync to Cloud drives (iCloud/Google Drive) or Ledgivo’s secure backend, you must keep your email login secure.

4. User Obligations

While utilizing Ledgivo, you strictly agree NOT to:

  • Use Ledgivo for any illegal transactions, frauds, money laundering, or illicit operations contrary to respective local laws.
  • Attempt to decrypt, reverse engineer, or hack the local SQL database or backend servers.
  • Abuse the "AI Business Assistant" functionality by issuing toxic or excessive systematic automated prompts not related to your direct business analytics.

5. In-App Purchases, Subscriptions & Ads

  • Free Version: The basic version of Ledgivo may display third-party advertisements via Google AdMob networks based on appropriate device consent mechanisms.
  • Premium / Disable Ads: Users have the opportunity to make In-App Purchases (via Apple App Store or Google Play Store) to unlock specific features or permanently remove intrusive advertisements.
  • Refund Policy: All transactions, refunds, and cancellations are exclusively governed by the policies of the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store wherein the original purchase was manifested.

6. AI Features and Limitation of Liability

Ledgivo grants access to an "AI Business Assistant" equipped with Voice-to-Text transcription and analytical models aimed at summarizing your tracked profits or sales trends.

  • No Financial Advice: Any analytics, trends, or responses generated by the artificial intelligence do NOT constitute professional financial, tax, or legal advice.
  • Accuracy Disclaimer: While we strictly engineer prompts for accuracy, AI can occasionally generate unforeseen inaccuracies. You must review and finalize the reports independently before utilizing them in tax filings or formal business audits.

7. Intellectual Property

All design, coding frameworks, trademark designations (Ledgivo), UI/UX models, features, functionality, and proprietary algorithms encapsulated within the App strictly remain the singular property of Ledgivo and its respective developers, protected by international copyright laws.

8. Service Modification and Termination

  • Modifications: We retain the exclusive right to modify, restrict, pause, or suspend any facet of the App features temporarily or permanently without continuous prior notice (though we actively avoid such severe interruptions).
  • Termination: If you are caught violating these Terms, Ledgivo developers reserve the right to ban your Cloud Sync account. To stop using Ledgivo entirely, simply delete your app and the synced data via your account settings.

9. Governing Law

These Terms will be interpreted following the localized laws of the jurisdiction from which the Developer officially operates, without regards to conflict of law principles.
